I came to watch my hockey team practice and stayed a bit for the

following speed skating practice. It always fascinates me how these

guys can be so fast (apparently) barely moving. This picture was taken

during their warm-up phase when they were leisurely skating together.

I have plenty of "frozen in time shots", but I find that this long

exposure does a better job describing the motion of the skaters. Thank

you for your comments.

You have accomplished the effect of motion well.

A good study in angular velocity, as the skaters closest are blurred the most
