Autumn

I returned to this old tree several times. It stands by a narrow paved road

leading to lake Bukumirsko, north of Podgorica, Montenegro. I tried from

various angles, in various seasons. This is the shot I like best.

Predrag, I read from your comment that you visit this spot quite often. So you must like it a lot. As an outsider, I found your image quite cluttered. The tree stands out little from the limestone rocks and the background trees. As a viewer with no knowledge of the spot I am confused and not really sure what is important in your image - the rocks, the tree, the fallen leaves in the foreground?

Thank you, Christoph, for your frankness. I agree that this image has no central point of interest. The eye wanders around and can't find a place to rest. However, I like the colors, especially the fallen leaves in the foreground.
