Rainbow Lorikeets

An observation here is how leaf like their backs are in terms of their habitat....... basically "screened" from above.

So in-spite of the brilliant colours, they are camouflaged from predators from above.

Lovely breakfast though.............

Yes, Sunday breakfast can sometimes be quite rewarding in terms of visitors stopping by.

We get quite complacent about the Pink 'n Greys and the White parrots who visit daily........ when unusual visitors stop by, it is go,go,go for the camera's.
