morophaenixmau 22 Posted January 10, 2014 I'm happy to be the first with my compliments and rate: clever and great fantasy like usual! Link to comment
breylac 0 Posted January 10, 2014 Hi David, the texture of the blood on the upper lip is perfect. I like the use of lights and the voluntary imperfection of the lipstick. But I'm a little bit embarrassed by the off center (perhaps it's because of my scientific side). I don't perceive the reason. If you can enlighten me :-).Benoit. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted January 10, 2014 Bravo in the highest my friend. There is nothing about this image that I don't love. Can you believe that I said something like that about an image with red in it?. Seriously, BRAVO. -Cheers Link to comment
branislav_branislav 0 Posted January 11, 2014 Very nice and emotional picture. Good job. B. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted January 11, 2014 I am normally not a fan of the use of selective color but it is used effectively here. There is a level of passion, maybe the red, portrayed in this photograph that works well. I too like the imperfection in the lip covering, it makes the photograph more than an lip gloss ad. davidmccracken 2 Posted January 11, 2014 Maurizio, First or last, I am just happy you took the time. Benoit, I must admit I didn't fully understand your comment until I read Mark's comment below. As for the composition, I just felt her philtrum is more interesting than her lower lip. Owen, I am glad you like it. Red is a wonderful colour isn't it? Branislav, I am not sure I understand your use of the word 'emotional' but I am very glad you took the time to comment. Mark, I hear you. I am not a fan of selective colour either but I do seem to do it more than I should. I am glad it doesn't look like lip gloss. It is blood... but it might not be real blood you understand. (MIGHT NOT) Sergio, Aren't all kisses nice? Thanks everyone. I really didn't think this image would attract so much attention. I am very humbled that it has. Link to comment
Vlado 0 Posted January 11, 2014 Actually, a very impressive mix of genres: macro, fashion, concept etc. and they don't cry apart - quite the other way - they sing together! Excellent work on red and details, brilliant composition. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 12, 2014 It is very humbling when a person 'sees' and does not just look. I thank you for your informed comment. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted January 16, 2014 Because these lips are so vividly red, they can only belong to a vampire. I suspect she's quite sexy in her own, come out only when the sun goes down, way. This image is quite amazing. I can see every pore and every line. My best, michael Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted January 16, 2014 Yes! Even at this resolution the detail is there. I am glad you noticed. I can assure you the young lady is not a vampire. I hope I am correct anyway. Thanks a lot for your input. Link to comment
