Hands

A bit of a departure for me, but I've been helping out with a naked

charity calendar and have been using some individual portraits to drum

up interest before the main images are released.

Let me know if you think this works, or if there's anything you'd do

differently. As the subject was not a professional model I'd

appreciate it if you avoid directly commenting on her looks, so please

stick to comments on technique, posing etc.

You didn’t ask for comments on the model but she has a beautiful body shape that does a lot for this shoot and I would like to give her cred for that I like the shooting angle and the composition too. The light on the hands on the light side tend to be a bit harsh, a bigger light modifier would soften that up a bit. but I like the Deep shadows too. Great work. If the rest of the calendar is in this class it will be great.

I like this concept and the execution. The multiple hands are well done and match her own well. I think seeing her lips help personalize the photograph.

I would be interested in hearing what the charity is.

Is this a picture of a print?

It looks scratched, slightly faded and a little dirty (cat hairs?).

If that's the result of post processing I'd use another template...

I would prefer a clear look.
