Hi Gareth,

A fine image the way you set it up my friend. 

I suggest trying dry ice and water to produce a similar but different effect. The lighting can be the same flash, or you could add a colored filter . From a fixed tripod, you could use multiple colored flash shots that are easy to combine into one.  The exposure needs to be under-exposed to allow for the best dynamic range to be managed.
