The twin set of ripples really puts the viewer right there and what a great view it is!  Love the warmth of the far bank vegetation and the snow capped mountains!

So the question must be asked was it 2 fish that had synchronised swimming lessons that caused the ripples, or did you simply flip a couple of pebbles into the water?

Compliments!

Alf.... I started with one pebble at a time but it wasn't filling the space I wanted so I tried two. It took me about 20 tries to get the timing right so the ripples touched. Thanks for the laugh. Synchronized fish.....

Twenty tries and the interim wait for the lake to smooth seems like a great time to enjoy this view.  Beautiful scene that is enhanced by the twin ripples...  Mike

I agree that the ripples are a nice touch in what would otherwise be an empty space. It's a natural way to fill the void. Even without the ripples, the scene is so serene, but blankness there would have bothered me. Creative thinking!

Thanks Adam...... I have photographed this scene many times and no doubt will do so again. The photos are all the same year after year so I thought I would try to add something a little different. Next year I'm thinking of having a trout sailing through the air from ripple to ripple:))
