vsmith 0 Posted November 26, 2013 This subject is my beautiful Daughter. We were playing around in last years Halloween costume. She truly is my angel. Anyway. I added a texture and a matte effect in Adobe Photoshop Elements 11. I was going for a kind-of Victorian-ish feel. I'm not sure if I accomplished that. Any Critique is welcome and appreciated. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
bronx 0 Posted November 26, 2013 I think you achieved the Victorian-ish feel you were after. I really like the tilt of her head and her blue eyes. A very beautiful photo. Link to comment

blackcat_luis 0 Posted November 27, 2013 This is a nice portrait quite emotive with a nostalgic touch, the eyelashes have been overdone it would've looked better all natural. She's got presence and her glance is far reaching. Beautiful image. Link to comment
nicolerenee 0 Posted November 27, 2013 She is absolutely beautiful, the light is very pretty, her expression is full of life, and the composition is nice. I even like the post processing effect. Just for me, though, I find the eyes a bit over-processed and feel like she's wearing a bit too much makeup. I think the ethereal quality would be stronger without those things. However, it is a lovely image of a beautiful girl. All the best! Link to comment
vsmith 0 Posted November 28, 2013 I couldn't agree more about the make up. over the years I've taken so many photos of her that Sometimes a little game of dress up is in order to get her in the spirit. Its almost like a bribe. This type of image was not my goal when I was putting the make-up on her. The only processing I did on the eyes was a sharpening. was it too much? She just has some killer baby blues that do amazing things in photographs. Thanks so much to everyone. Link to comment
