Not sure what the horizontal line is near the center (a pipe?) but I think your nice treatment of the image would be even better if you used content-aware fill to remove it.

:) that's a piece of wood, apparently used by a dog who just jumped from one shore (right of the photo) directly on top of the big rock in the middle of the river.

We were 3 photographers but no one moved when that dog jumped !

Anyway, I don't like to alter the content of my photos. I try to make the photo as close as I saw the landscape in the real life.

Now here the water wasn't that blue, but the rest of the colors are very close to the reality. The place had a mystique feeling so I added a filter to replicate that feeling.
