This was from a 35mm neg that I cropped the top and bottom off.

Taken from Jersey City.

 

I think the horizon is a little off level. I just noticed it I

should have corrected it before putting it up. I'm not sure if the

slide was in the scanner bad or the image was taken like that.

 

I have another taken with a Yashica Mat on tungsten film that looks

great but I don't have a mf film scanner. I think I'm going to get

ti drum scanned to make some prints. When I do I'll put it up here.

I've always wanted to shoot the NYC at nite shot... Very crisp and beautiful color, exposure, light reflection in the water.

This is a pretty picture, but why do you call it art? What are you trying to say with it? I don't get any real feeling from it. It looks more like a good, but typical stock photograph that you could sell to a calender company.

Tom, before 11 sept rating would be 10 for esthetic and 6 for originality.... now it's 10/10... with tears...

this was and still is a wonderful shot, its just a shame on how its changed

I just love this shot. Maybe photo.net should revise the term 'originality' in the rating system. I see someone comments above that this image 'isn't original'! Maybe it should be something like 'Aesthetics' and 'Technical Competence' In which case this image easily deserves 8's, 9's and 10's! I just wish I'd shot this!!
