Pierre,

I can understand why you choose "Dumas" as name. Alexander will be pleased to see how you have realized the Abbé Faria's thought or Edmond Dantés' feeling when they were in the prison of If's Castle.

That's a great "telling" picture ! We like or we dislike, but it "hurts" you. You can stay in your armchair without react.

Wonderful creation.

I'm very pleased with the thorough observation you made, but Michael Linder said something very similar and Maurizio mentioned fear in his comment! And I replied to Maurizio that it's through, also to Michael that I discovered the meaning with the help of his comment!

Terrific. Terrifying! Suggestive! Those three words tells everything. And the spider looks nasty, and the guy behind tries to be tough, but we can all see the net between them even if it is digital.

Best regards Eystein

Eystein, is the spider so terrifying or me, or both of us?! We are just observing each other with a dose of hostility and precaution!

Hi Pierre

When I see a work you post I find myself in front of two examination, the first as a TOEFL test and the second for my IQ. Each time I feel I can do one of them but the other make me fail in both, Spider, man!. Kind regards.

Impressive! I love photos that make me feel an emotion, and this one gave me that feeling of having something creepy and crawly on my skin.  Really well-done.

Nothing special in regard of TOEFL, Museeb! There is a movie hero called Spider-man, he happens to be unrealistic creature, here we have spider and man which is closer to reality, even there may be some metaphore! They have something in common and they are completely different from other side! What is their mutual relation is the theme of this photograph! Thanks for your visit and comment, my friend!

Cara, spiders don't crawl, they move very fast, even can run! This one is standing still and exploring his possible enemy or mate! For me, spiders are very cute animals, they are not interested in doing harm to people! I have a picture on which one spider kills another in a half of a second, meaning that they are more hostile to each other!

Thank you for your visit and comment!

"Along came a spider"..........I like this very much, it poses the question "Who is watching whom"?  Hunter and prey ........assassin and victim......stalker and bait .....the myriad of patterns add a ghostly veil that separates the two, once removed the game accelerates!

Compliments Pierre!
