I was lucky, he was a very willing model and he allowed me to get quite close. One of those times when all the camera settings, ISO and aperture seemed to be spot on too.

Hands down the best squirrel picture I've seen here on PN.  The coloration, detail, pose, composition and processing are all superb!  I see he's munching on something.  You must have bribed him with something yummy!  ;-)

Wow! that s a great compliment, as there are some excellent squirrel photo's on PN.

I didn't tempt him with any food, but someone had placed bird seed on the log he is sitting on, and he is in the process of stealing it : - )
