dwaugh 0 Posted September 30, 2013 This was one of my first nights shooting the Milky Way in mid-summer. Mountains and the night sky are two of my favorite things, and combining them hardly gets better. The moon rose as I was starting to shoot, taking away some starlight but lighting the peaks very well. Taken at 1600 ISO, F4, 30 seconds, 10mm. All comments and critiques welcome. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted October 2, 2013 David, Excellent image of splash of stars with the cloud (may be wrong word) coming down to the middle of the mountains. This must have been a really long exposure. I'd appreciate learning your technique in capturing an image like this. Thanks. Larry Link to comment
