Jim - I am going to say the same thing; "I love the morning light".   Really appealing subject matter and I like the composition also.  Initially when I saw the two black strips, I said "Wow" because it catches your eye immediately, Then I tried to imagine the image without it and i began thinking that this image is so strong, it really is self-sufficient and does not need those two black strips. On the other hand, and to some extent, it has the brassiere effect. It covers up leaving me with a desire to see more and that is the case especially with the wild flowers at the bottom left. 

A fine image indeed!
