Hi Grayham ,

A pleasant scene with two different sea birds in the same shot.

Your lens performs best set to wide open, and at the range that you were most likely at relative to the birds , there would be no DOF issues to speak of anyway.

Best Regards my friend, Mike

This one looks very sharp and well detailed. You have even managed to retain detail in the white parts, something that I have struggled with when there is such a sharply contrasting light / dark in a subject .

Maybe consider cropping the left half?

Cheers Grayham!

I find Pelicans to be so interesting to Photograph. I have some shots from back in my 'film 'days', but I know if I had the opportunity I would love to Photograph them. So odd looking they are beautiful (at lease to me!) Excellent detail in the plumage of the Pelican, Grayham.

Hi Grayham

Ruffled feathers or not! I like this shot, the Pelican has a rather 'Imperious' look on his face...

Kind regards

Louise
