Rio Vista Windmills

Its interesting to note the way the windmills connect the earth with the clouds. I like the colour contrasts and the horizontal textures of the field from where spring the vertical windmills. 

Maybe I would have placed the nearest windmill slightly more to the right.

Alf, thanks for the comments.  I have a few different angles of this.  One as you suggest. The clouds rolled in just minutes before I took this series.   A few minutes later they blocked the sun and the light was gone. 

Agree with Alf. Really nice photo -- great colors and sky. I think this would work very well as a square composition by removing from the right side.
