On holiday last week we visited some caves. This is one of the

calcite formations created thousands of years ago. I chose iso 1600

for this 1/30 sec handheld shot.

Hi Gareth,

Very nice results from this environment.

I like the fact that you did not use a flash. The use of ISO 1600 for this 1/30 second exposure worked well for the 18 mm lens setting.

I wouldn't have got the colours and atmosphere  if I'd used flash. More time and tripod was really needed but the whole visit was rather rushed.
