Impressive capture. Was it a lucky shot or last of many many tries ? I like the composition - very classic.

That day i was trying my knew teleconverter Nikon TC-20E III and i had many shots from different birds. It worked pretty well with my Nikon D200 body.

Nice.  I like the composition and cropping.  It might be tempting to zoom in a bit more, but this is exactly right.  Excellent timing, the position of the wings is just great.  I like the blurred, colorful background.  The DOF here really make the bird stand out against the background. I also like the vignette, the bird is moving out of the darkness into the light.  Well done.
