This is  a very  nice  and funny couple,I dont know them, but I think you  are well titled them..

 

 The giant is the birded one, and big Big Ben is the RHS.. am I right?..;-))

Yes you are right Pnina and thanks.  Jack "the gentle giant" is on the left and Big Ben Jaber is on the right.  Both interesting guys and great musicians.  Jack comes to his music as a traditional musician play concertina and flute and is well known in the Irish music world, particularly on the West Coast of the U.S..  Ben is also a traditional player on the flute the Irish pipes and he also is the principal French Horn player in the San Diego Symphonic Orchestra. He also is  accomplished on the Alp horn, which is one of the most bizarre instruments.  He is what you might call accomplished.

Again, thanks for the interest in my photos, it really gives me a lift.

Thanks for your explanation, I like the two of them.Do you have a photo of the AlP horn? I would like to see how it looks...;-))

BTW- looks at the last week's pow forum.I think you might like it ( and if you have what to add,it is not too late...;-))
