Being a urologist myself, I cannot take my eyes off this wonderful abstract of the organ I specialize in. It's like a color version of a CT scan and an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) image combined.

This one conveys more of your artist vision than the other one I remember looking at. I seem to remember it had layers and cross sections that reminded me of biology text book diagrams.

There is more a mystical glow to this one, these kidneys belong to a surreal alien being. The human race will probably carry spares like this in the future grown from stem cells.  There will be a full body kit (heart lungs, spare limbs etc) ready on the shelf (or in the freezer)  for each individual available 24/7 just in case of accidents. And also specialist teams dedicated to providing and fitting custom made parts for the more adventurous individuals.

I have pre- ordered a new pair of eyes and a new 20 GB memory card for the future when I get confused.........now what was I doing.....
