Muffin and I at our Fantasy Cabin sm

Back in 2007 I posted this image for critique, the original image is still posted.  A mistake I made in the original image is the placement of my dog.  Some strange way I had placed my dog in the shadow area near the porch.  How that happened, I'm clueless.

Most of this is a painting with photos of myself and my dog placed into the painting.  Corel Painter and Photoshop were used.

So, I took the time and re-did it, glad I did as my dog has since passed.

I really like what you have done to improve the image, the light shining from the window does now appear to fall very naturally on your dog.

For me the ends justifies the means, and this is a great fantasy cabin that we can all share.

Great mood, a bit surrealistic image, therefore who cares where exactly  the light comes from! Maybe the great masters of painting took good care of such details, I don't! The mood is what counts for me!
