william_staniforth 0 Posted July 25, 2013 http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/life/Dragonfly#p00gcnfcI wasn't lucky enough to see it emerge , but the link is to a short but fascinating video on the life of the Larvae and Dragonfly . It is well worth seeing , even if you have no interest in natural history . Bill Sorry link does seem to work you will have to cut and paste into your browser . Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted July 26, 2013 I now see a macro from you for the first time, William! Not bad at all! And interesting moment captured! Best regards PDE Link to comment
vancouverphotographer 1 Posted August 21, 2013 Nice ... too bad you didn't see it emerge but looks like you got it not too long after. I recently saw a bunch of empty "shells" but just one full grown dragonfly that looked like it emerged a while and waiting for it's wings to dry or something but there was no shell near it.
