Wonderful portraits of two magnificent bears. We would like to think we humans are "king", but these animals are the real top of the food chain. Those claws are scary! One swat and you're lunch!

I presume these are captive animals? I don't think I would want to be anywhere near as close as this to a grizzly in the wild. :-)

Micheal, this is the same bear on both frames of course, I will post the couple soon. You are right to think these are captive bears, they are at the www.zoosauvage.org that is a Natural zoo where the animals are free and humans are gated to watch" Its a wonderful place to visit
