I really like the interplay between sharp and blurred parts of the photograph. The curly tendrils of the stamen and the hairs at the edge of petals are tiny  details that make such a big difference to the appearance of the image.

Hello Tina,

I think you are probably getting the very hot temps we are, so difficult to take pics in, at least for me. But I still get out there and try. I am glad you enjoyed this capture!

Thanks for stopping by. I still have much to learn about composition, and even the sharp and blurry areas. Choosing just where I am going to position myself as I take the image I know plays a big part. Sometimes things work to my benefit, but I know I have to learn more in order to be proficient at this work I love so much. My appreciation for your comments and time taken Alf.
