Freedom Struggle (see larger)

Desperate attempt by Goldfish to fight for her life. This is daytime

photo with shutter speed of 1/20 seconds and still it could not freeze

the motion of Goldfish. I have many more shots of same time, all

show the eye of fish sharp but the tail swinging desperately. The

heron was giving her sharp jerks but the fish would not stop fighting.

I was a bit disappointed that time, the photo is not pin sharp. Later on

I realized, the photo captures nature's food chain at its peak. Hungry

predator and prey's desperate struggle for freedom ...

Interesting, . . . And in my observations of the GBH's I see them "spear" larger fish with their beak often.

I do like yours here, . . . it has the look of a nature painting!
