A truly delightful  and charming work, bravo.

I have followed on other pages remarks sometimes pointed at supposedly suggestive photos of younger persons (and this in no way reflects on a recent comment  by my friend Carlo whom I know personally and is an irreproachable gentleman and family man), but cannot help feeling that  these may sometimes make reference to situations that do not exist, other than in the mind of abnormal people.

 Without doubt, we should always protect without compromise the integrity of our young people and protect them from their own innocence, but my feeling is that  it should not reach the point of hysteria  where we attempt to enter into the minds of sick people and see evil in healthy play acting such as expressed above,  frequently witnessed  in  members of my own family, alike by many others too.  

I must admit at being a little shocked at the time at the works of David Hamilton whose books were proudly exhibited in all the major book stores and libraries around the world, including in the USA when they were first published, and which were composed in majority of suggestive/erotic  nude photos of pre-puberal  girls. However, sentiments have turned around since then, as frequently occurs with time, and have now moved to the other extreme.   

There is nothing even remotely inappropriate in this work in my view, and certainly not something the young model will not be pleased with when she grows up (unlike the case of the supermodel and actress Brooke Shields who was photographed full frontal nude in the bathtub at ten years old, with the consent of her mother, and published in a reputed journal) …, so why mention it, because as a fellow member of PN,  I prefer to raise the point under an image which is less open to criticism than others could be and should not lead to any controversy. We are photographers and I feel that our role is to record life and not to filter or sanitize it for view.

I particularly like the lighting, it enhances the  pose which is dominated by the model's facial expression.
