margatt 9 Posted June 26, 2013 A different perspective on a familiar location. I'd like to see the shot with the model facing the camera. Seeing her face, I don't think would take away from your intended subject matter. Now she seems almost a distraction or filler for the bottom right corner. Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 26, 2013 I am imagining that she is enjoying the view. Personally I would rather see this lovely place that one day I would hope to visit. I find it such a fascinating place. Looks like you had sun but a lot of cloud overhead. Link to comment
charles_brennan 0 Posted June 27, 2013 I really like this, it's got everything - overall crisp and clear, bright blue sky, ocean, rocks, fascinating town that seems to grow out of the rocks...The angle of the railing takes your eye from the subject in the foreground and leads you right to the buildings. I sort of like the fact that viewpoint allows us to stand back and admire the woman admiring the view. Clearly a spectacular vista behind her, I don't blame her for looking the other way. Having said that I do agree with somewhat with the previous post. I think an interesting alternative would be to have the model facing the camera. It would give a completely differnt look and really change the lower right of the image. This is again however spectacular. Well done. Link to comment
hansdans 0 Posted March 1, 2014 I like this shot as it is- the lady is looking at the amazing view.. Revealing her face would take off part of the mystery composition of this unusal and fantastic landscape, which she is now intensively looking at ...as we are:) Fine work. br Hannu Link to comment
