I love action pictures of cats - they are my favorite animal.  This one has me a bit confused though, as the cat does not seem to be looking at the object but at it's own paw.  I first thought the object to be a walnut but I can see it is not - is it a plant product?

It is indeed a walnut. Why the kitten is not looking straight at it? I'm not sure, maybe bcoz the action was very fast...
