beepy 0 Posted August 11, 2003 So, realize I try to find something wrong when I see a request for comment on photo.net. I like this composition a lot. Like the tones. I stared at it for a while though - and the horizon line defined by the model shadow? Or floor/wall transition - I can't tell? Seems extremely slightly out of horizontal. Seems lower on left hand side? I drew a horizontal line across to confirm this. With such pure form composition and presence of a straight line - I see the very subtle tilt. Maybe I'm being too picky. Great form on body! Link to comment

james_oneill 0 Posted August 11, 2003 If I was going to be picky I'd like a fraction more contrast. The lighting is good, I like the toning, and the pose is very good and very original. Link to comment

margaret_s. 0 Posted August 13, 2003 Very original pose. It creates superb fluidity in the overall look. Lighting beautifully done also, I like the shadows on her buttocks and leg. The only thing I would've preferred is seeing less of her ribs. My eyes keep being drawn to that, but that's just a personal preference. Link to comment
alan chan 0 Posted August 14, 2003 model without the head ! very unique. Purely personal taste. i would also like to see a bit more contrast too ! Link to comment
david_broadway 0 Posted August 14, 2003 Well let me begin by saying that you obviously have some experience with the photography of nudes. It's clear that you have taken an appreciable number of photos in regard to the subject. I'm not that concerned with the 2-3 degree deviation in angle from horizontal with respect to the floor. My initial impression is how the right leg seems to be independent of the rest of the torso. This effect is nice. But I must admit the the rib cage area is a bit unpleasant for me. As well as how the breast falls upon the thigh (pardon my punctuation and grammar). You know, you have this, ( or she has this), line running perpendicular to the ribs. But the pose and composition is a nice idea. If I may suggest to try this pose again with several different models. Keep up the fine work. Link to comment
