Thank you for your visit and encouraging words of critique. I have Mike Palermiti to thank for his continual urging for me to practice my handholding. I find it very challenging and am hoping soon to do it a lower shutter speeds.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend Antony, kind regards, Gail

Thank you for taking the time to visit and for letting me know that you are OK and did not suffer terribly from the storm that was threatening Mexico, so relieved to hear that news.

Wishing you the very best always, Gail

I think your journey into Macro photography is coming on in leaps and bounds........this is lovely and a real tribute to the wisdom of Mike Palermiti whom I know has offered some great advice previously.

I really like this, I think it is one of your best!

I would try a little crop here....horizontally from the top of the paler coloured V right across. It leaves a kind of pano finish....but I think it looks really effective.

Sincere Compliments Gail

PS I have just viewed the original too and it shows the vision you have employed to arrive at this image........great work!

Gail, I love  the full image, it's gorgeous, the yellow of the stamens made a good contrast, and the strong color of the from add for a superb picture,. :)

Well done my dear friend, and thanks for all your advices!!

thanks for your kind words and advice, at first I did not know what you meant but now I do. It would look good that way.

The first image down below is the original, the second is another shot I took, do you mean to crop the image from the original version, or crop it from the one posted?? (doesn't take much to confuse me ;-)

Let me know when you have time!!! thanks so much Gail
