panayotis_papadopoulos 0 Posted May 27, 2013 Aha! The continuation of the phone series! More stories to tell Pierre, Bravo my friend! but don't get excited with real life comments, these icons have nothing to do with the reality and that's their core beauty. In fact they try the exact opposite. To look totally unreal and surrealistic. Someone may like it and someone else might not. That's the way it goes. Either you dig the composition or not...Cheers! Pierre Dumas 274 Posted May 27, 2013 I'm a surrealist Panayotis, not because I like it, but because I hate the reality and "sur" means above, therefore I do something beyond the reality which I hate, ha! Thank you for your thorough and interesting critique! PDE Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted May 28, 2013 From reality come our thoughts and result can be expressed in different ways, this is your for sure unique style and sur-above-reality,compliments. Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted June 1, 2013 Weird is good, weird is different, weird is refreshing, and you are after all master of all that is weird. ......Well perhaps not all : - ) "I've been through a desert on a horse with no name, it felt good to be out of the rain" (Song by "America" circa 1972) Yes I like all the thought provoking, image jolting, teasing, poking, wierdness of it all. Compliments & Best Regards Pierre! Alf Link to comment

JPPhoto1664880217 5 Posted June 3, 2013 You are a surrealist par excellence. Your telephone in the desert series is fantastic, and would draw praise from Breton. The only difference between you and Dali is that you are not Dali! Jim Phelps Link to comment

yannis_georgikopoulos 0 Posted June 16, 2013 Of the 3 shots, I think I prefer this one. Let me explain...The rider symbolizes the Eastern civilisation, the conquests, the glory, the interminable trips of the human soul. The phone, was invented in the West, it symbolizes the progress, the need for communication (a contrario with the lonely rider). The overall gives the impression of a promise of coexistence : the man is going towards the phone, maybe to make a call and hear what's on the other side or just narrate his own story...My sincere congrats my friend!
