Pierre Dumas 274 Posted May 22, 2013 Ha, I thought you were kidding about sunspots as an astronomical phenomena which I don't know nothing about, ha! Thanks for taking the time for explanation and you thank me for cleaning your monitor! PDE Link to comment
kazimir 5 Posted May 22, 2013 ...as the horsmen coming closer, the shadows are falling apart more and more - one thing doing, other thinking....All the best and awaiting for more brain progressing images !!! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted May 22, 2013 Nebojsa, the shadows are never parallel when produced by light coming from one point and they ared depending on the of the sun rays falling, the more sun is down, the longer will be the shadows! That is my geometry!Thank you for your visit and input! PDE Link to comment

John Peri 1,032 Posted May 23, 2013 In the old days, they killed the messenger that brought bad news, better to use the phone! A major component of Pierre's work is the surrealism, both in terms of graphic design and results. The various components, which may include shadows and items that are related or not will make sense only in the light of the story conveyed, and that is for each of us to search for and enjoy, I most certainly do. For me, there is an opposition here between sunrise and sunset (the shadows), and the means of communicating the message .. the remainder will need a psychiatrist's couch to interpret .. : -) Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 25, 2013 Depression is a temporary mental state that each one has experienced at least once without realizing it.Depression that lasts more than three days must make you say "Fuck the rest, we're the best!" I would say "copulate" instead of "fuck" so it will pass the site's Cerbers.Depression that spreads is probably surreal and existentialist. At least that's my experience... If you have it, you have to live with it, repeating the above "Fuck" related sentence every time :)But am I teaching you lessons ?!:)Up the Irons ! Link to comment
Mi dirus "copulate" anstataŭ "fuck" do pasos la retejo Cerbers. Depresio kiu diskonigas estas probable superreala kaj ekzistencialista. Almenaŭ tio estas mia sperto ... Se vi havas ĝin, vi devos vivi kun ĝi, ripetante la supre "Fuck" rilatajn frazo ĉiufoje :) Sed mi instruas al vi lecionojn?! :) Ĝis la Irons! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 274 Posted May 25, 2013 Yes my dearest friend, you are teaching me lessons and seems to me good ones! I don't reproach to that, after all mi estas pupilo, mi iras al la lernejo de vivo! Vivo? I can't remember, I learned Esperanto in 1968, long time...and I never used it! Piero Dumaso Link to comment

dave_dise1 0 Posted May 25, 2013 Pierre, I also like this more than the owl version. The horse adds an element of movement. In both I especially like the colors and simplicity. This one has more impact since the horse is smaller than the owl. The angle of the shadows and the placement of the sun, horse and phone create a triangle shape in the center which again keeps our eyes gazing at the main theme of the picture. All the other elements support to give setting. One small addition I might consider is adding tracks in the sand behind the horse to give more feeling of movement. I would picture them small so as not to distract from the main focus though. Again I find this work inspiring.Dave Link to comment
