Lurking

This picture combines some conflicting pictorial elements.  From the amount of her face that shows, she appears quite young and is possibly a child.  Because of foreshortening (the camera is very close to and enlarges) the hand and its position make it rather look like a bunch of claws.  Her arm has a covering of gray that makes it look very strange.  I cannot get a clear story from this.

I like the idea here but I think for this image to really stand out you need to focus more on her eye,  or maybe focus on her finger nails? The way it is now- im not sure what you tried to focus on and nothing really draws my attention. but again, nice idea .   

I think I would have done some editing to make the young woman's eye appear a little more prominent. Perhaps lighten the white of her eye up a little.  

At first I thought she was looking down at her feet and I thought how much better it would be if she were looking at the camera.  Only then did I realize she was looking at the camera.
