Gail, this is very nicely done.  Crystal clear, great black and white conversion.  I think the digital treatment is very nice.  I also think it sort of hides the fact that this is a really fantastic image that could just as easily stand alone.  It's a great capture at the right moment.  Very well done.

David     -    many thanks for your visit and encouragement!

Rudd      -     you always are such a great source of support, thankyou!

Mehmet  -     I don't have too many concert images, but I get the odd good capture.

Dominick  -   I think I was just very fortunate with this one, but I will enjoy trying to do some more shots this summer!

A fascinating portrayal of someone who must be an incredible performer.  Is this a double exposure?  And, if I were you, I wouldn't have any concerns about working in black and white.

My best,

michael

Really good, Gail. In terms of design this would make an excellent poster or album cover. (of course it would be better as a record album cover rather than one of those little DVD squares.) You've really been showing a mastery of a wide range of subjects and approaches lately.

Thank you for your visit Jack, your comments on this image were truly appreciated. I guess every so often even I try to think 'outside' my sandbox for inspiration!!!

Sincere appreciation for dropping by, made my day! ;-) Gail

No it isn't a double exposure, it is layers. Took a bit to get to where I really liked it though. Thank you Michael for that 'vote of confidence, truly appreciated!!!

Really impressive image. Reminds me of the phrase of "projecting one's voice" only here it's HER that's projecting. Good work.

A real "Lights camera action" type of capture. It has all the drama and buzz of a live event and the B & W quality is excellent.

Very well done Gail!

Best Regards

I juts think it's a great image of a singer - different from the "norm" - worthy of a CD cover at the very least!
