Having a Hay Day

Comments please! This is one of our chickens named Maude. She loves

to sleep in the stall with Hit Man, one of our stallions. I have

learned to take my camera when making trips to the barn for anything,

as I find the most humorous situations out there! If you look in my

portfolio, you will see a very humorous shot of Hit Man (solid black

stallion) with his hair standing straight up. Also, in my portfolio,

is a funny one of Jock (gray stallion) with his head hanging over the

top of the stall door checking me out. Gotta love farm life!!

I really like the "down on the farm" kind of feel that this image conveys.

The hay feeder provided a great arena for Maude (what a brilliant name for a chicken) to strut about in.  And I even like the rustic kind of framing that is very in keeping with the image.

Well Maude seems to be the 'Hen of the Day'!!! I can imagine you would get lots of pretty funny captures if you  had more time to spend out there!!! I have always loved visiting farms. Great Capture Sheila!!
