I like many others would like to sell my images, so I'm looking for

general mistakes there could have been avoided.

Bjorn:  I'm not a pro but I'll tell you what I see.  I really like the tones and lighting.   She is a very trim and pretty girl with a wonderful figure.  I liked the way you  positioned her body and hands.  Very feminine.  To my eye, I would have liked to have more room on the left.  She seems squeezed to the left with too much negative space on the right. The wrinkles in the cloth are distracting.  The background should be more out-of-focus.  Also, her left thumb appears amputated.  She should show it.  I'm sure it's as nice as her right one.   Nice shot.  Alan.

So very lovely... A super use of the light. Sell is such a big word. I'm thinking one thing that would help is a more interesting set, something that is unique to you and your work. You must create a 'product' that no one else makes and then get really, really good at marketing. Marketing is key! Lots of books out there on the marketing of art but you must do more than just read them. If you can't do this for yourself you need to get someone to do it for you. It is very difficult to make it as a photographer of nudes. It is everywhere for free all over the internet. Lots of lookers, not so many buyers. Perhaps it is best left as a really fun hobby with an ocational sale.
