The larger view puts that big rear end right in your face. I think the incongruity of the two strollers registers pretty high on the whimsicality scale. I did something similar a few years back; I'll see if I can track it down and post it for you.

apart from the unfortunate crop of the rear leg i have nothing to complaint...a very nice take with different  scales. compliments -koushik

Very good contrast sizes of human and elephant! But this contrast does not stop them being friends.

I am glad you all enjoy this photograph. It is one of my favorites from that trip. I sure enjoyed the way they seemed to appear from nowhere. I turned around and there they were. It was the last day of my first trip to Cambodia in 2007. It was also the last image on the roll and the last image I took on that trip. This is 35mm Tri-X stretched to its technical limit. Barely enough light to stop the movement and get a little depth of field. The drizzle didn't help either. It was very early and there was little to no traffic and I can still hear the soft foot prints. The image always makes me smile.

man not riding the elephant, but rather walking along side with his own slow transportation... elephants are very emotional and form attachments with the same feelings as humans.  it's beautiful. makes my heart flutter ;-} dp
