Hi Engela ,

This is a very nice image of the 58% illuminated moon .

I cropped and oriented moon with North up and East to the left.

I also adjusted the range , too.

Best Regards, Mike

I must actually dedicate this image to you because it was you who inspired me (after viewing all your wonderful moonscapes)to go outside and start clicking!

I love your version a lot.  It brings out all the craters and shadows very well.

I was outside again tonight and took a few more shots.  My aim is to try and do that every evening until full moon.  Hopefully the weather will allow me.

Thank you so much for your much appreciated help and suggestions.

Kind regards

Engela

Thank you for the visit and comment.

Without the help of Mike Palermiti, I would not have been able to do this shot, but I suppose with Mike's help anything and everything is possible.

Kind regards

Hi Engela,

Thank you for the kind gesture and recognition of what I intend to do here on PN; to pass along my knowledge and experiences to others.

I am very pleased to see your results and I look forward to seeing many more images in the future.

It is not easy to image the moon night to night due to the weather conditions. I had taught one of my students how to use their telephoto lens to image the moon and he was able to image the entire lunar cycle without any days lost !

Warmest Regards my dear friend, Mike

Dear Engela, this is a great moon picture, I never did such a good picture of it and never will!

Best regards

Thank you so much for the nice compliment!  Well, to be very honest, this was definitely not my first attempt.  But with Mike's help (with the settings, etc) on my Canon, I managed to pull it off.

Kind regards

Engela

A wonderful capture and I am glad to see that you were inspired by Mike. His work inspires so many of us, while also being such a wonderful source of information (education). I do like the changes he made and I imagine you did appreciate his help. We are so fortunate to have him here to help us.
