This is nice.  It has a painting like quality. I can't tell if this is due to the original colors or from post processing but either way, very soft, subtle, and pleasing.  The details and texture on the house are so good (this looks great viewed larger) I'd maybe emphasize them more by using a tighter crop, maybe not including as much lawn?  On the other hand, the greens in the lawn provide nice contrast.  Great image.

I love these plank houses from the past, they should stay there and be a reminder of the past and decoration of the scene!

Hello Melisa,

The moment I saw this I thought of "Textures of Time."  You have crafted your image to show those textures very well.  When looking at the small image I imagined this to be an abandoned building, but since the windows are not broken and curtains are present, I suppose it must still be occupied.
