I think this one achieves a remarkable sense of depth, with the endless prairie stretching all the way to a miniature mountains barely visible on the far horizon. Yet this vast space is dwarfed by the threatening clouds rolling overhead which dominate both the landscape and the picture plane itself. The way you have composed the elements in the photo reflects their relative relationships in terms of space and power.

I like the (Ruisdael-like) approach you took here for this, Frank -- very effective & impressive.
