I like to do engagement sessions for our wedding commissions. After one

half hour or so of posing the couple gains trust in what I am doing. I like to

use humor, props, and the couples' own individualistic ideas. In this image

the bride to be let go with a heartfelt kiss that seemed to express her

tender love for the groom. Nice couple.

Not quite sure how your Bio hangs together, as it appears you have been a member for quite a while, yet have only recently posted 4 images..... no matter though.

Look, this image creates concerns for me......... I have read the intro for the photo, and looked at it long and hard, and whilst you write with confidence of your ability, I unfortunately do not see that confidence coming through the image..........

For me, with my humble 10 years of wedding/fashion photography, this image is sadly lacking in so many avenues.

Back in the darkroom days, we battled like crazy to produce true Black and White photos'........... all shades of grey hit the rubbish bin as failures. Crisp, tack-clear images were the call-of-the-day.... otherwise you went out of business. Photographers were only as good as their last shoot.........

So, to put this into context with your image....... the darkened text above, doesn't seem to apply............... I see a far-from-crisp image of all shades of grey.......... and I don't see this as simulated romance/passion.

In all honesty, I would not dream of presenting a client with an image of this quality...............

A critique you asked for, and I have tried to be as construtive as I can...

Regards
