The incongruity of the dog's tawny coat and the repeating blue-tiled motif of the empty swimming pool makes for an intriguing combination. I really like the complimentary tension you have achieved here between upper and lower halves. The clay jar in the upper left corner captures a little too much attention, in my opinion, but all in all a terrific picture.

Thank you Jack for the compliment! I agree that the jar would be better off - but would have meant too much photoshopping ;) so it had to stay... Hannu
