Beauty Shot for model's portfolio

If this were a portrait, I'd say yes, it's too detached, but as a portfolio shot, maybe not.

 

The crop at the top is bothering me a little, however. I'd want to either crop it more, or not crop the top of the head at all. Cropped this way it looks somewhat like a mistake.

I love that detached look, although there is some intent, her gaze is not that vacuous, plus the lighting is great.....powerful picture

Nice eyes and lips, but I think it is cropped too much at the top. I wish you had left her whole head in the frame.

like the second picture better. very nice, but the expession on her face makes her right eye look way smaller than the left. overall nice pic. best regards.
