davidmccracken 2 Posted February 27, 2013 Something a little different for me. Feedback appreciated. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted February 27, 2013 Even though the blurring and DOF looks a bit artificial, the idea and concept do achieve a visual impression. BW adds to the effect. Well done.DG Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted February 27, 2013 You might guess I love this David. I have been playing with a similar pose and it works.I think it works because it is unexpected which is the case with your images. BRAVO.I am posting a manipulation of one of my similar previous images and am interested in your opinion. -Cheers Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted March 1, 2013 Whether this is shallow depth-of-field or digitally blurred is unimportant. I like the result. Well made, David! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted March 1, 2013 Daniel, I am glad that you commented on this. I knew the ratings for this would be low. However, it is comments that I am here for. I agree that it does look a bit artificial. In this particular case, I believe it works. Owen, I did have a feeling you would like this. I also knew the ratings would be low for this image. It tickles me that people who know what they are talking about, like this and those that don't, don't. I realise that may be an arrogant statement. While I am glad you took the time to comment, I am more happy to know that you have seen this. Jim, I have them every morning. Mark, Self praise is no praise but I like this too. I am glad that you like the result. Thanks everyone. Link to comment
morophaenixmau 27 Posted March 1, 2013 At the moment a too much low rate, for me a good and interesting shot! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted March 2, 2013 The fact that people are allowed to rate an image without leaving words to be the most annoying thing about this site. It is interesting to note that those that have left words find this image appealing. This is encouraging. Thanks for taking the time. Link to comment
trakakis 0 Posted March 2, 2013 Wonderful photo!!! I like very much the narrow depth of field, makes the eye to focus at the power of the hand!! Link to comment
