Indeed, the lower part is quite dark. It is dark on purpose, but it may well be too dark. This was shot when uploaded and post processed using a (fairly good) laptop display. Although this is calibrated, it is nowhere near to a real monitor...

So indeed it might be my fault - thanks for pointing it out!

yeah I picked up a dell monitor and hooked it up to my laptop I am extremely pleased the way that the pictures turn out.the laptop monitor picture completely changes depending on the angle viewed. I like the picture though
