I too like the subtle 'etching effect', as well as the way the eye seems to travel diagonally across, to the darker tree beyond...

Definitely this is a beauty.  Perhaps if I were you I would have very slightly cropped just a little bit on the left to get rid of the visible branches.  Otherwise, this is a wonderful Artwork with a soul. I like it for the emotion it conveys and its poetry.

Delicate blacks against a field and sky of gray and white. This reminds me of Japanese sumi-e (monochrome brush painting). Excellent composition, an impressive landscape. This is really a blast from the past as I've noticed the names of some very talented members who are no longer active here. Marjolein was one of my favorites.
