Your black and white and heavy contrast works well this image vlad.

A really nicely balanced and, I assume, quickly composed still life on the fly. It's success due to an experience eye.  I agree with Gail that the elevated contrast works well here.  Increases the drama of the shot.  Gives it impact.  My favourite of your three most recent posts.  Looks like you've been having fun.  Best, LM.
