It contains seven or eight species of mainly deciduous shrubs and small trees. They are native to Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America as far south as Brazil but have been spread throughout the world's tropics. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 16, 2013 Beautiful image. Composition, light, and texture detail are great. The spiraling of the petals really adds movement to the image. I would clone out the light spot on the branch behind the flower (near top left of image). The lightness of the spot draws attention to itself and away from the subject of the image. Link to comment
