A really lovely capture and a beautiful and soft winter scene. What is there not to like about it?   I suspect that you have probably represented what you saw. Of course it is difficult to judge that because I was not there.

What you have exudes a certain mood and tranquility re the winter scene and is very good 'as is'.

I might want to do something a bit different but that is based on my style and tastes. I have made some changes mostly by using Photoshop CS5 Shadow/highlight/mid range contrast command to make some quick changes - more can be done but it is simply to show another possibility.

Hi Tony,

Thank you very much for your comment, as kind as helpful. Indeed the correction you suggest gives more radiance to the picture without damaging its balance, which makes it more attractive.

I took this photo in the early morning, while the last traces of mist were dissipating. I didn't use any filter.  This way I got two zones, one overexposed ans the other one underexposed.

Two shots with different expositions should have given a better result, but it was difficult without my tripod.

Best regards
