A streetwise Feral cat I found in Malta - she was tiny and very wary of the

camera, but with beautiful eyes...

Beautiful cat and a beautiful portrait of her! You are right in your statement about her beautiful eyes. Her facial expression and shape of her eyes remind me of my cat Gizmo. I love your angle here; really excellent work Pauline (as usual)! Thank you for sharing. :)

Beautiful work Pauline! I just read in our newspaper about a study done in the US and Canada that 'feral cats' actually kill more birds and mammals than any other predator. There are so many running wild now and they are hungry! Unfortunately it is the nature of the cat to not always 'eat' what they kill. It is a shame that the populace has become very complacent about caring for their cats. When they tire of them they often just let them run wild.  This cat has a beauty about it, but a certain 'wildness' in the eyes that you have captured! Well done Pauline!
